The next PsyLit meeting will
take place on Friday March 14th from 2-3pm in Room 104. Joanna Kellond
(University of Sussex) will be giving a paper on the U.S. TV series ‘In
Treatment’, the series dramatizes the sessions of a Psychotherapist and his
involvement with the lives of his patients. Joanna’s paper is
entitled‘Television and/as Therapy: the Case of ‘In Treatment’.

In
the seminar Joanna will be looking at the Alex sessions which are made up of
episodes 2, 7, 12, 17, 22, 27, 32 and 37 of Season 1.
